The Most Beautiful Park In LA

Don’t listen to the haters! Los Angeles has some stunning parks and beautiful sights. It isn’t all just Starbucks and juice bars. My husband and I love to explore new places in LA and discover what this humongous, wonderful city has to offer.

A few weeks ago, we made the relatively short trek to Kenneth Hahn Park, not really knowing what to expect, and I was shocked at how amazingly beautiful it is. It truly is the most beautiful park in LA! We went back again recently because it’s the perfect spot to sit back and relax.

Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area is located on 4100 S La Cienega Blvd and it is an ideal place to hike, have a picnic, embrace nature, or throw an epic outdoor barbecue. At the entrance you are almost immediately greeted by a gorgeous pond bustling with ducks and turtles and surrounded by tall trees. As you continue on through the park, you’ll find streams, waterfalls, public picnic and barbecue areas, and, my personal favorite, a hiking area that takes you to the perfect view of LA.

The best part about the hiking area and vista point is that it’s never crowded, like hiking to the Hollywood Sign can be, and it provides a crystal clear view of the city from a different perspective.
